Creating my own DIY loudspeakers was basically my first real contact to woodworking  (apart form building model airplanes as a child). It started all in ~2006 when I realized that the my mini-hifi system was not providing a real “HIFI-Experience”. So my first project was the Dallas II backloaded horn, which really provided a great Hifi experience especially for small bands/arrangements. At that time I had a strong focus von Horn Systems and as those are barely available von the Hifi market (at least in my prices segment) it was clear that only DIY was an option.
